Sewer.- passage for carrying off waste water and refuse

Butler.- person that serves you

Court.- place where legal justice is administered

Rings.- when you don't sleep you hace rings

Knitting.- sth being knitted 

Nappies.- what babies used 

Laundry maid.- servant that cleans and wash your clothes

Mud.- soft dirt

Dye.- a coloring material used by the laundry maid

Starch.- white material which comes from the plants

Tub.- a bathtub

Mangle.- sth use to drain the clothes

Dragged.- to pull

Buns.- a round bread

Icing.- a sweet misture of sugar, butter and flavoring

Mouths watered.- when you are starving and you see sth delicious you have mouth watered

Grabbed.- to dragg

Hemp.- type of plant

Beat.- to hit

Logs.-  it comes from the trees and it is cylindrical

Straw.- you use it to make fire

Deck.- place which is in the top of a ship

Tore open.- to open
